Mexico
The Mexican government is considering a request to extradite fugitive drug lord Joaquin Guzman, better known as El Chapo, to the United States.
Following his recapture by Mexican marines on Friday, authorities have said they will work fast to establish the path to extradite El Chapo by mid this year.
El Chapo is wanted by the United States for several drug related and criminal charges.

However, his lawyers have vowed to fight the extradition process.
‘‘We find ourselves in a constitutional context, between right and wrong. That’s to say, as his defence counsel, I maintain that national sovereignty, must be respected for the carrying out of justice,” Juan Pablo Badillo, a lawyer representing Guzman said.
The drug kingpin escaped from prison six months ago but is now back to the same maximum security jail which he broke out from.
El Chapo has already escaped from maximum security prisons twice.
